Day wise itinerary:

Day 1: Land in Lima – The City of Kings

• Welcome to Lima, Peru’s lively capital that blends colonial heritage with cosmopolitan flair.
• After a long flight, unwind at your hotel and relax.
• If you’re up for it, head out to Miraflores, a beautiful seaside district known for its cliffside views, artisan cafes, and ocean breeze.
• Watch the sunset over the Pacific, enjoy a light dinner, and meet your fellow travellers as your Peruvian adventure begins.
• Overnight stay in Lima.

Day 2: Palomino Islands – Swim with Sea Lions

Rise and shine for your first taste of adventure!

• After breakfast, head out on a day trip to the Palomino Islands, one of Lima’s best-kept secrets.
• Hop aboard a yacht tour across the Pacific waters, spotting herons, Humboldt penguins, and playful sea lions. And if you’re feeling bold — take a dip and swim alongside the sea lions in their natural habitat.
• Return to Lima by evening and explore the city’s buzzing food scene. Try authentic Peruvian ceviche, unwind at a rooftop bar, or simply enjoy a peaceful night by the ocean.
• Overnight stay in Lima.

Day 3: Lima to Cusco – Discover the Puma City

• Catch your morning flight to Cusco (airfare not included as prices fluctuate).
• Welcome to the historic capital of the Inca Empire — a city of cobbled lanes, vibrant culture, and endless charm.
• Give time to adjust to high altitude
• Start with a light Cusco City Tour, often called the Puma City for its sacred animal-shaped layout.
• Visit Cusco’s central market, filled with local produce and colourful Andean crafts, then head to the Santo Domingo Convent, built atop the Koricancha Temple — once the most revered temple of the Sun.
• Spend your evening strolling through quaint streets, visiting local cafes, or tasting Andean delicacies.
• Overnight stay in Cusco.

Day 4: The Sacred Valley Tour

• Begin your day with a drive to Chinchero, known for its well-preserved Inca walls and traditional weaving art.
• Visit a beautiful colonial church before continuing to Moray, where circular Inca terraces showcase ancient agricultural innovation.
• Next, head to the Maras Salt Mines, with over 3,000 sparkling pools carved into the mountainside — a true marvel the locals call the “Tears of Mother Earth.”
• Enjoy a buffet lunch in the Sacred Valley, once the spiritual and commercial heart of the Inca Empire.
• End your day in the romantic Ollantaytambo, the “Living Inca Town,” known for its cobbled lanes and preserved heritage.
• Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in a traditional Andean town.

Day 5: Machu Picchu – The Lost City of the Incas

• After breakfast, board the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu Town. The scenic journey through the Sacred Valley offers breathtaking mountain and river views. (train upgrade available)
• Spend the day exploring Machu Picchu, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
• Wander through the ancient citadel, marvel at its architecture, and take in panoramic views that feel straight out of a dream.
• After lunch, return by train to Ollantaytambo.
• Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in a traditional Andean town.

Day 6: Rainbow Mountain – A Trek to the Skies

• An early start takes you south of Cusco through picturesque valleys.
• After a 2.5-hour drive, enjoy a traditional breakfast in the Cocla community, then begin your Rainbow Mountain trek.
• The hike rewards you with surreal views of the Andes, glacial peaks, and red mountains, with llamas and alpacas often crossing your path. At the summit, soak in the dazzling colours of the mountain — nature’s masterpiece.
• After descending, enjoy a buffet lunch and visit nearby Andean communities to experience traditions still preserved from Inca times.
• Relax in Pacchanta’s hot springs at night — the perfect way to unwind after your trek.

Day 7: Sacred Offering Ceremony – Connect with the Andes

• After breakfast, take part in a traditional Andean offering ceremony — a spiritual ritual where locals make offerings to Apu Ausangate Mountain, the protector spirit of the Andes.
• After lunch, drive back to Cusco.
• Overnight stay at your hotel in the heart of Cusco.

Day 8: Day at Leisure in Cusco

• A well-deserved day to rest, explore, and reflect.
• Roam Cusco’s ancient streets, visit museums, shop for souvenirs, or enjoy coffee in a sunlit courtyard.
• This is your time to slow down and soak in the Andean magic at your own pace.
• Overnight stay in Cusco.

Day 9: Into the Amazon

• Fly to Maldonado, where your Amazon adventure begins! (airfare not included)
• Enjoy a boat ride to your lodge in the Amazon jungle
• Settle into your lodge surrounded by lush jungle, and in the evening, embark on a safari to spot the nocturnal flora and fauna of the Amazon rainforest.
• Overnight stay in the Amazon Jungle

Day 10: Amazon Jungle – Anaconda Walk

• Glide in a wooden canoe across the glassy Lake Sandoval
• Scale the Inkaterra Canopy Walkway and witness the vastness of the Amazon
• Follow the Anaconda Walk over the mysterious wetlands
• Observe secret jungle activity in a night trail under the cover of darkness
• Overnight stay in the Amazon Jungle

Day 11: Farewell from Peru

• After breakfast, group transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
• Say your goodbyes, exchange photos and hugs, and leave with memories — and friendships — that’ll last a lifetime.

Bolivia & Chile

Note: Bolivia & Chile are optional visits for those who can manage more leaves from their work station

3rd June : Early morning :Fly to La Paz

Spend the day chilling near the centre

4th June : Witches Market & Evening Bus to Uyuni

5th June: Arrive in the city of Uyuni at 7:30 AM. Enjoy free time to buy snacks, water, and use restrooms to freshen up.

Start your excursion leaving the city of Uyuni at 10:30 AM from the Perla de Bolivia office. Visit the Train Cemetery, the small settlement of Colchani (workshops of salt miners next to the salt flat), crafts made with salt, and textile art made from llama and alpaca fiber.

Next, visit the “Salt Water Eyes,” a hotel-museum made entirely of salt, and Incahuasi Island. Then, make sure you and your group pose for fun distorted perspective photos against the striking white surface of the salt flat.

To end the day, head to an open and spacious area to experience the unique opportunity of watching a beautiful sunset, spreading its dazzling colors across the salt flat, and finally arrive at the village of Ajencha for dinner and an overnight stay

6th June: Uyuni to Huayllajara

Start at 7:00 AM for breakfast. Visit the Ollagüe Volcano viewpoint, the rocky path “El Pasito Tuntun,” and the famous Cañapa, Hedionda, and Chiarcota lagoons where you can see flamingos.

Finally for the day, enter the “Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve,” Siloli Desert, Rock Tree, and the immense Laguna Roja to see more pink flamingos in their natural habitat. Spend the night at Huayllajara

7th June: Huayllajara to San Pedro de Atacama

Start early around 5:00 AM to visit the Sol de Mañana Geyser, Hot Springs, Dalí Desert, Green Lagoon, and White Lagoon at the foot of Licancabur Volcano.

Next, return to the border between Bolivia and Chile (Hito Cajón), where your guide will assist you in crossing the border at 10:30 AM, arriving finally in San Pedro de Atacama by 2:00 PM.
Overnight stay in San Pedro de Atacama.

8th June : Fly back or Explore more on your own!
