Day Wise Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival in Vientiane
Welcome to Laos!
• Arrive at Wattay International Airport
• Transfer to your hotel in Vientiane. Settle in and enjoy the city at your own pace.
• Overnight in Vientiane
Day 2 – Discover Vientiane & Buddha Park
• Start your day with a visit to Wat Si Muang, known for its spiritual power.
• Visit Buddha Park (Xieng Khuan) which is home to over 200 Buddhist and Hindu statues.
• Visit COPE Center to learn about Laos’ war history and efforts to clear unexploded ordnance.
• Explore the sacred That Luang Stupa, climb Patuxay Monument for city views
• Visit Wat Sisaket and Wat Phra Keo, showcasing stunning Lao and Khmer art.
• End the day with a riverside stroll along the Mekong at sunset.
• Overnight in Vientiane
Day 3 – Scenic Drive to Vang Vieng & Cave Exploration
• Travel north through beautiful countryside and breathtaking scenery to Vang Vieng
• Adventure begins now!
• Visit Tham Xang (Elephant Cave), then explore Tham Hoi (Snail Cave) and Loop Cave with their fascinating limestone formations.
• At Tham Nam (Water Cave), tube through clear waters and enjoy a refreshing swim.
• Trek through rice fields to the Hmong village of Phathao before returning to town.
• Overnight in Vang Vieng
Day 4 – Kayaking, Tubing, Ziplining & Blue Lagoon
• Short journey to north of Van Vieng to Ban
• Begin your adventure with kayaking on the Nam Song River, surrounded by limestone karsts.
• Explore Tham Norn (Sleeping Cave) and Tham Nang Far (Angel Cave
• Enjoy a picnic lunch before an exciting zipline adventure (8 lines, 3 bridges) through forest and over rivers.
• Continue kayaking downstream and wrap up the day swimming or relaxing at the iconic Blue Lagoon.
• Overnight in Vang Vieng
Day 5 – Train to Luang Prabang
• Take a scenic train ride to Luang Prabang.
• Visit the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre to learn about Laos’ diverse cultures.
• Explore Heuan Chan Heritage House, enjoy local coffee or tea, and tour the Royal Palace Museum.
• Climb Mount Phousi for a panoramic sunset view
• Shop for handmade crafts at the vibrant Night Market
• Overnight in Luang Prabang
🛶 Day 6 – Mekong River Cruise & Pak Ou Caves
• After breakfast, take a leisurely cruise along the Mekong River to the mystical Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues
• Stop at Ban Xang Hai village to see traditional Lao rice whisky making.
• Back in the city, visit Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, known for its sweeping roofs and mosaics.
• Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 7 – Morning Alms, Kuang Si Waterfalls & Local Crafts
• At sunrise, join Laos’ most sacred ritual – the morning alms ceremony with over 200 monks.
• Visit the bustling morning market, then stop by the UXO Visitor Center.
• Explore the spectacular Kuang Si Waterfalls and take a dip in the turquoise pools.
• End the day at the Ock Pop Tok Living Craft Center, where artisans create traditional fabrics
• Overnight in Luang Prabang
Day 8 – Departure OR Add 2 nights for CAMBODIA
Enjoy some free time in Luang Prabang before your transfer to the airport for your flight home.
