Trip Dates: 12th September to 19th September
Arrive at Leh airport & meet our representative who will drop you to the hotel. Use the day for acclimatization which is of utmost importance for your health. In the evening you can visit Leh Bazaar or Leh Palace Shanti but please note that acclimatisation is the most important thing you need to take care of. Overnight at your hotel in Leh.
Note: if the trip leader feels that someone needs to rest on Day 1 then the visit to Shanti Stupa can be done later as well.

Visit the Shey Palace along with Thiksey and Hemis Monastery today for better acclimatization and if you are a non-vegetarian you can try the famous Biryani in Thiksey village.
Evening you can visit the Leh Bazaar. Overnight at your hotel.
Visit the highest motorable road – Khardung La en-route the cold desert- Nubra Valley. Stay in Hunder near the sand dunes where you can spot the double humped camels & post dinner you can watch the shooting stars from your luxury camping ground. Overnight camping in Hunder village.
Visit another pretty village today which was part of Pakistan before the war. You will get to know
strange stories here about the Indo-Pak war and the beautiful valley views would make you click again and again. Overnight camping in Hunder village.
We will start our day early and drive to Pangong lake via Shyok. You all know about the Pangong Lake from the movie 3 idiots but to enjoy it from the Shyok side is a different beauty completely.

Return to your base in Leh via Chang La (4/5 hours drive)

Today you have various optional tours: You can try rafting in Zanskar if you want or you can try quad biking or simply hire a Bullet to enjoy motorbiking on the Leh roads while we do the local sightseeing.
