Why IKIGAI?
We've Been Chasing the Northern Lights for Over a Decade

Murmansk isn't a new destination for us.

For years, we've taken hundreds of Indian travellers across Northern Lights destinations including Russia, Finland, Iceland and Norway.

That experience has changed the way we design our Arctic trips.

We know that one Aurora night isn't enough.

We know that weather can change an itinerary.

We know that Indian travellers regularly underestimate Arctic cold.

And we know that the best Northern Lights trip is one you'd still call incredible even if nature makes you wait.

That's why our Murmansk Northern Lights packages from India are built around the wider Arctic experience — not around one promised photograph of a green sky.

Who This Trip Is For
  • Solo travellers looking for safe group travel
  • First-time Arctic travellers
  • Bucket-list seekers & photographers

FAQ's

The main travel season runs through the darker Arctic months. The experience changes through winter, so the ideal month depends on how much snow, daylight and cold you want. Read our month-by-month Murmansk Northern Lights guide before choosing your departure.

No. The Aurora is a natural phenomenon, and no responsible operator can guarantee a sighting. We plan our trips during the appropriate season and spend multiple days in the Murmansk region to give travellers more opportunities.

This varies slightly by departure, but our itineraries intentionally keep several days in the Murmansk region rather than relying on a single Aurora evening. Check your selected batch for the exact itinerary.

Indian passport holders are currently eligible for Russia's unified eVisa, subject to the latest rules. Visa processes can change, so check the individual departure page and current requirements before travelling.

It depends on the departure. Even when planned, winter access to Teriberka is subject to road and weather conditions.

Yes. Our trips are designed to be particularly comfortable for solo travellers, although couples, friends and siblings also join.

A glass-igloo experience is included on applicable departures. Check the exact inclusions for the batch you are considering.

Murmansk experiences proper Arctic winter conditions. Temperatures vary significantly through the season and weather can change quickly. We provide travellers with a detailed packing and clothing guide before departure.
