Then comes the Algarve — golden coastlines, whitewashed towns and ocean views in Albufeira that feel almost unreal — before ending in Lisbon, a city filled with vintage trams, tiled facades, hidden alleys and old-world charm.

Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Madrid (22nd August)

Welcome to Madrid — Spain’s vibrant capital, where grand architecture, lively streets and timeless charm set the tone for the journey ahead.

After arrival, meet your fellow travellers and settle into the city before heading out to explore Madrid’s atmospheric Old Town on foot. Wander through historic squares, charming alleyways and bustling local markets as the city slowly comes alive in the evening. We will try Sangria today

Note: Meeting point for all the travellers on Day 1 is your hotel in madrid. We will also create a WhatsApp group one week before departure so that those landing at the same time can connect with each other before flying.

Day 2: Explore Madrid with 24 hour Flexi pass

Day 3: Antequera

Today, we leave the buzz of Madrid behind and board a scenic train journey towards the heart of Andalucía — Antequera, one of southern Spain’s most underrated gems. Known for its whitewashed streets, historic churches and relaxed local charm, Antequera offers a slower, more authentic side of Spain away from the usual tourist crowds.

After check-in, spend the evening exploring the town’s beautiful plazas, hidden alleyways and traditional Andalusian architecture. With its hilltop views, quiet cafés and old-world atmosphere, Antequera feels like stepping into a postcard from another era.

Day 4: Caminito del rey (optional Hiking )

For those seeking a bit of adventure, today offers the option to experience the legendary Caminito del Rey — one of Spain’s most breathtaking hiking trails. Suspended along dramatic cliffs and deep gorges in the heart of Andalucía, this scenic walkway promises unforgettable views, turquoise waters and an adrenaline-filled experience unlike anywhere else in the country.

Once known as the “world’s most dangerous pathway,” Caminito del Rey has now been beautifully restored into a safe yet thrilling trail that combines nature, history and spectacular landscapes. The hike takes you through narrow canyon pathways, hanging bridges and panoramic viewpoints that showcase the wild beauty of southern Spain. (you need to pre book this hike as it gets sold out in advance)

Guests who prefer a slower day can choose to relax and continue exploring Antequera at their own pace, enjoying its cafés, local markets and laid-back Andalusian atmosphere. (Perfect for those who enjoy slow travel)

Day 5: Ronda & Setenil De Las Bodegas

Today, we board a scenic train from Antequera to Ronda — one of Andalucía’s most spectacular and historic towns, dramatically perched above a deep gorge. Famous for its breathtaking Puente Nuevo bridge, whitewashed streets and panoramic viewpoints, Ronda perfectly captures the timeless beauty of southern Spain. Spend time wandering through its charming old town, soaking in the mountain views and experiencing the relaxed Andalusian atmosphere that makes the town so unforgettable.

Later, we continue to the surreal village of Setenil de las Bodegas — a place unlike anywhere else in Spain. Built directly into massive rock overhangs, its cave-like houses, cafés and streets create an almost unreal landscape that feels frozen in time. From narrow lanes tucked beneath giant cliffs to hidden local spots, Setenil offers one of the most unique experiences of the journey.

After a day filled with dramatic scenery, local culture and postcard-worthy views, return with memories of two of Andalucía’s most iconic hidden gems.

Day 6-: Ronda to Seville : Flamenco Evening

Today, we leave the dramatic cliffs of Ronda behind and board a scenic train journey to Seville — the cultural soul of Andalucía and the birthplace of flamenco. Known for its vibrant streets, historic architecture and passionate energy, Seville offers a completely different side of southern Spain.

After arriving, we set out to explore the city on foot, wandering through charming old neighbourhoods, lively plazas and narrow lanes lined with colourful buildings, hidden courtyards and orange trees. From historic landmarks to bustling local cafés, every corner of Seville feels full of life and character.

As the evening unfolds, immerse yourself in the spirit of Andalucía with an authentic flamenco experience — a powerful blend of music, dance and emotion that captures the essence of Spanish culture. The rhythmic guitar, soulful singing and electrifying performances make for an unforgettable night in one of Spain’s most captivating cities.

Day 7: The Royal Alcázar of Seville 

Today, step into one of the most breathtaking landmarks in all of Spain — the Royal Alcázar of Seville, a palace so stunning that it became a filming location for Game of Thrones. With its intricate Moorish architecture, grand courtyards, colourful tiles and lush gardens, the Alcázar feels less like a monument and more like a scene from a fantasy world.

Wander through beautifully carved archways, hidden patios and royal chambers that reflect centuries of Andalusian history and Islamic influence. Fans of Game of Thrones will instantly recognise parts of the palace as the Kingdom of Dorne, but even beyond the screen, the Alcázar leaves visitors mesmerised with its unreal beauty and timeless atmosphere.

Spend the rest of the day soaking in Seville’s charm at your own pace — whether it’s café hopping through the old town, capturing the city’s vibrant streets or simply enjoying the laid-back rhythm of southern Spain.

Day 8: Albufeira (Algarve)

Today, we leave Spain behind and journey into Portugal’s stunning southern coastline as we transfer from Seville to Albufeira — one of the most beautiful towns in the Algarve region. Known for its dramatic cliffs, golden beaches and laid-back coastal charm, Albufeira offers the perfect change of pace after the cultural streets of Andalucía.

As the landscapes shift from historic Spanish cities to scenic ocean views, the Algarve welcomes us with whitewashed houses, turquoise waters and sun-soaked streets. After check-in, spend the rest of the day exploring Albufeira at leisure — wander through its charming old town, relax by the coastline, discover hidden viewpoints or simply enjoy the relaxed seaside atmosphere.

With its perfect mix of beach vibes, scenic beauty and vibrant local life, Albufeira feels like a Mediterranean escape straight out of a postcard.

Day 9: Ferragudo & Benagil Cave

(Note: IDP is required for driving so carry one only if you wish to drive. Cars will be provided)

Today, we set out on a scenic coastal drive from Albufeira to explore two of the Algarve’s most picturesque gems — Ferragudo and the world-famous Benagil Cave.

Our first stop is Ferragudo, a charming whitewashed fishing village that perfectly captures the slow, laid-back beauty of coastal Portugal. With its narrow cobbled streets, colourful boats, hilltop viewpoints and peaceful seaside cafés, Ferragudo feels untouched by time and offers a more authentic side of the Algarve away from the crowds.

Later, continue towards the iconic Benagil Cave — one of Portugal’s most breathtaking natural wonders. Known for its dramatic sea arches, golden rock formations and the famous circular opening that lets sunlight pour into the cave, this spot looks straight out of a dream. Whether viewed by boat, kayak or from the surrounding cliffs, the Benagil coastline offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the entire Algarve region.

From hidden beaches and turquoise waters to postcard-perfect villages and dramatic coastal landscapes, today is all about experiencing the raw beauty of southern Portugal.

Day 10-: Albufeira Leisure & Beach Day

After days filled with exploration, today is all about slowing down and soaking in the relaxed coastal life of the Algarve. Spend the day unwinding in Albufeira, where golden beaches, turquoise waters and dramatic cliffs create the perfect setting for a laid-back escape.

Whether you choose to lounge by the sea, take a swim in the Atlantic, café hop through the charming old town or simply walk along the scenic coastline, Albufeira offers the perfect balance of relaxation and vibrant beach-town energy. The town’s whitewashed streets, oceanfront viewpoints and lively atmosphere make it easy to spend hours doing absolutely nothing — and enjoying every second of it.

As the sun sets over the Algarve, enjoy a slow evening by the beach, take in the coastal views and savour the final moments of Portugal’s southern paradise.

Day 11-: Albufeira to Lisbon 

Today, we bid goodbye to the sun-soaked beaches of the Algarve and journey north towards Lisbon — Portugal’s vibrant capital city, where old-world charm meets creative energy. As we leave the coastal towns behind, the landscapes slowly transform into colourful streets, tiled facades and the unmistakable atmosphere of one of Europe’s most captivating capitals.

On arrival, begin exploring Lisbon’s unique character through its lively neighbourhoods, vintage yellow trams, scenic viewpoints and charming alleyways filled with cafés, music and local culture. Built across rolling hills overlooking the Tagus River, Lisbon offers a perfect blend of history, architecture and modern city life.

Spend the evening soaking in the city’s laid-back energy — whether it’s wandering through the old quarters, enjoying local Portuguese cuisine or simply watching the city glow as the sun sets over its iconic rooftops.

Day 12-: Guided Sintra & Pena Palace Day Tour

Today, we head out on a guided day tour to the magical town of Sintra — a destination known for its fairytale landscapes, royal palaces and lush forest-covered hills. As this is a guided experience, the day will follow a fixed schedule to ensure smooth transfers and timely visits across all attractions.

The highlight of the tour is the iconic Pena Palace, one of Portugal’s most breathtaking landmarks. Perched high above the hills of Sintra, this colourful palace is famous for its vibrant architecture, panoramic views and dreamy atmosphere that feels straight out of a fantasy film. Explore its grand terraces, intricate details and scenic surroundings while learning about the rich history behind this UNESCO-listed masterpiece.

Throughout the day, enjoy glimpses of Sintra’s charming streets, hidden corners and scenic viewpoints as you soak in the beauty of one of Portugal’s most enchanting regions. After a memorable day filled with castles, landscapes and postcard-perfect moments, return to Lisbon by evening

Day 13-: Obidos Half Day Tour & Souvenir Shopping

Today, we head out for a half-day trip to the charming medieval town of Óbidos — one of Portugal’s most picturesque hidden gems. Surrounded by ancient walls and filled with whitewashed houses, cobbled lanes and colourful flower-lined streets, Óbidos offers a beautiful glimpse into Portugal’s old-world charm. Spend time wandering through its peaceful alleys, exploring local boutiques and soaking in the fairytale-like atmosphere that makes this town so unforgettable.

Later, return to Lisbon for a relaxed evening dedicated to souvenir shopping and exploring the city at your own pace. From handcrafted ceramics and traditional Portuguese tiles to local delicacies and unique keepsakes, Lisbon’s lively streets and markets offer the perfect opportunity to pick up memories from the journey.

Enjoy your final evening soaking in the energy of Portugal’s capital — whether it’s café hopping through the old town, strolling past the iconic yellow trams or simply taking in the city’s vibrant atmosphere one last time.

Day 14-: Fly back to India

You can either fly back to your country or extend your holiday to another country if your visa duration is good enough or if you can manage more leave from your work! (airport pick up and drop not included because people would be joining from different cities / countries for the trip)
